Over the past month I have been busy working on the design and plan for developing the iFx Weather (iFxWx) utility. The elevator-version of iFxWx is that it will be a web app that meteorologists and weather enthusiasts can use to quickly and easily create and publish a beautiful forecast. If you would like to read more about the core concept and what the project is envisioned to become I encourage you to read my previous post on the subject.
Getting the initial template established and functioning is always the most challenging part of the development process. Over the past week I’ve started coding the simple functions that iFxWx will be based on. If you would like to read more about the progress made to date please read the Dev Notes for Version 1.0.0 Pre-Alpha on the iFxWx website.
I will continue to publish updates here on Austin’s Atmosphere when major milestones are accomplished. Development notes will be published in detail over on the iFxWx blog. If you have any ideas or concepts that you would like to see built into iFxWx please leave a comment below or email me.
